President's Message for December 2008

Hi everyone! Thanks for all your good thoughts and wishes as I recover from my accident. The flowers sent to my home by the Club are lovely. Here is a photo of the flowers.

Thank you Ray Lackey for presiding over our November meeting, and thanks to Frank Hurley for stepping up at the last minute to give a presentation about educating school children about honey bees. I heard he did an excellent job!

I am on the mend, and will be OK to go on our Honeymoon in Jamaica November 24. I may not tear up the dance floor as usual, but it will be a relaxing, romantic time. And I will definitely be at our Holiday Party on December 7. While at home resting, I have been preparing some special new touches for this year’s party.

I am also preparing our 2009 meeting schedule, and hope to have it for you at our December Meeting – our Holiday Party! Here’s a big announcement: Our May speaker will be the Chairman of EAS, Jim Bobb!
